Is there some reason that we can't all wear sari's and salwar kameez if we want to?
The day I gather my courage and buy such an outfit and wear it, I will be declaring independence from the opinions of others. Some of you may already not give a fig about what other people say, but I am not so thick-skinned or self-confident.
Indian clothes are beautiful, and practical and comfortable. (I think.)
And I know I should be able to wear what I want without caring, but I'm just not quite there yet.
I'm working on it.
When you see me in a sari, you'll know I've arrived.
