but the kitten we took to her new family today is not fat - although she is faring much better than when we first brought her home. She's probably gained several ounces. And when you weigh 1.3 lbs, every ounce counts.
If we lived in Canada, it might go:
Strayeh had a chez
Strayeh had a place to stay
Strayeh wasn't very stray, eh?
