There's nothing too close, but I'm starting to think about gathering a pile of things to take should we have to evacuate, in the same way we prepared in 2017 and 2019.
There are nearly 5.5 million active COVD-19 cases in the US, and Sonoma County is still trending in the wrong direction. But, as can happen in the middle of a crisis of indeterminate duration, it's a question of taking things one day at a time.
And as if it weren't exciting enough around here, I'm reading The Fifth Season. which is a fantastic book, but may be sparking apocalyptic survival thoughts in my busy little brain.
