Tonight S's past preschool teacher came over for dinner. We had a great time, especially because it was very relaxed.
At the end of the evening, our guest and I took turns reading pages of a story about a leprechaun for S, then the girls were tucked in and probably asleep within about a minute. Now the dishes from the home-cooked meal are done, the dog's been fed, I've (pretty much) blogged, and I'm still awake but ready for bed.
I will post the newly revised Ant poem tomorrow, after a little more feedback from the Yahoo poetry group.
