Fortunately, the scorching hot weather has subsided and there's a cool, almost cold, breeze that's started up in its place.
I have never paid so much attention to weather before, but now that I am keeping bees, it matters to me whether it's too hot, too cold, too windy, too dry. I hope for a little rain for a small second Autumn "flow," because it would give the bees a little more boost. But this new practice, like so much else that seems to come with my current age and stage of life, requires patience.
