Double Meetings

Another day in the life. D. was away for the afternoon and evening. N. is camping somewhere. For me it went something like this: work for 8+ hours, stop at home for the bass, pick up S. from school, then take her to rehearsal. Another parent meeting, which I left to go back to the HS for yet another parent meeting - this time about an upcoming overnight field trip for the 11th grade.
The HS meeting ended just in time for me to go back to pick up S. twenty minutes away as rehearsal ended. Home to take care of all the animals, then to bed. Thus the late retroactive post.

My poetry takes a back seat sometimes during days like this, but I did manage to read part of Space, in Chains yesterday and have been making my way, grudgingly, through a Frank Bidart collection.
