The Beginning of the Season

It's Youth Orchestra season again, which means the Sunday night (Youth Orchestra) and Monday night (Young People's Chamber Orchestra) rehearsals have begun for S. Here's a bass clef note in her honor:

After coffee with a friend and fellow writer in the morning, and driving S and a friend around town mid-day, in the late afternoon, we drove the 40 minutes to a parents' meeting/potluck/rehearsal. My day ended late, and although I'd had a very, very long night's sleep last night (12 hours or so), which did my back and leg much good, I am starting my week sleep deprived again.
