More Runaround

Left work early for errand-running, including picking up S. from the 11th grade camping trip: ropes course, wall-climbing, star-gazing. In the Waldorf high school system, each year focuses on an element: 9th=earth, 10th=water, 11th=air, 12th=fire. The week long "Adventure Learning" trips focus on these elements. There are pedagogical reasons for this which, were I not feeling so tired and defeated as I post this (five days after the fact),  I would take the time to explain.
