We're experiencing a heat wave - even hotter than the usual Indian Summer this year. I think the wax in the hives might even be softening. But what a lovely smell!
The heat won't last forever. In the meantime, it's all about watering (even though we're in a drought) and staying as cool as possible.
The weekend was too short, and next weekend may feel even shorter, judging by my schedule. But S. made it safely back from an overnight camping trip for a friend's 16th birthday just in time for orchestra rehearsal, and will embark on another adventure come Monday. She just has to finish packing!
