Anything I want to write right now feels too much like complaining. So I'm going to count my blessings instead.
Here are some:
a warm, safe, quiet home
a healthy family sleeping in their beds in the warm, safe, quiet home
a bed waiting for me to sleep in, too
a job to go back to tomorrow even though I could not drag myself there today
the moon, the stars, and the daffodils blooming in the adobe
