It's been a full day. The race went well - I didn't walk at all, and did a pretty good time (for me), considering I hadn't been trainng for the event as much as usual.
I spent the better part of the day after that shuttling kids around and participating in the girls' school's May Faire, complete with maypole dancing from each class, strawberry shortcake, flower planting, garland making, prayer flag painting, and kids running around and being kids.
I've fallen asleep twice now, writing this. No point trying to come up with anything much that's readable, now....make that three times. -out-
